MLK Service Awards, Call for Nominations

The deadline is Friday, Nov. 20, to submit nominations for WSU’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Distinguished Service Awards. Awards will be given in five categories: a WSU faculty member, a WSU staff member, an enrolled WSU student, a group or organization affiliated with WSU, and an individual or group from the surrounding community.

Winners will be chosen based upon their service in one or all of the following areas: altruism and community service, advancement of diversity, education and inclusion  To make a nomination, visit https://mlk.wsu.edu and click on the Distinguished Service Award link.

Winners will be recognized during the WSU Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Celebration at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, in the CUB senior ballroom. This event will feature hip-hop artist and community activist Jasiri X.
