Get paid to bicycle and stay fit at UREC

PULLMAN – University Recreation has a comprehensive training program set up for those interested in becoming fitness instructors.  UREC is offering Fitness, Cycling and Matrix Bike training courses this month.

The Fitness Track lasts for two days, running Aug. 13 and 14 at the Student Recreation Center.  The cost is $50 and includes a Fitness Passport, allowing access to all fitness classes, for that session.

For participants interested in cycling, UREC offers two different training opportunities: the Cycling Track and Matrix Bike Training.  The Cycling Track is Aug. 16 and 17 at the SRC in room 252.  The cost is $50 and includes a Fitness Passport.  Participating in the Cycling Track gives participants the option of a discounted Matrix Bike certification (contact the SRC for more details).

Matrix Bike Instructor Training is Aug. 16 at the SRC in room 252.  The cost is $100 and includes a manual, Continuing Education Credits, and certification upon completion of the test.

Registration is being taken now online at www.urec.wsu.edu or at the SRC service counter. For more information contact Jeanna Kiehle at jkiehle@wsu.edu or go online.
