Public dedication, tours, reception for Northside residence

Northside residence hallPULLMAN, Wash. – The new Northside residence hall at Washington State University Pullman will be dedicated at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, 1590 NE Colorado St., across the street from Bohler Gym.


Public tours and a reception will follow the program and ribbon cutting, which will be in the first floor lounge.

Draperies made with care and to last

PULLMAN – From carpenters and mechanics to interior designers and painters, the housing and dining maintenance staff at WSU is a team prepared to fix anything.


Catherine Jasmer, the drapery fabricator for housing maintenance, is part of this team. It’s her job to sew and repair linen and draperies for WSU apartments and residential halls.

Construction of WSU’s newest student housing facility is growing visibly in stature as the superstructure and a crane can be seen on the horizon from Stadium Way.


A facility on the WSU Pullman campus is slated to be complete in August 2009. The hall on Olympia Avenue will house approximately 230 residents. It is the first student housing facility constructed on the Pullman campus since 1972.
