PULLMAN, Wash. – Writer and translator Rebecca Gayle Howell will give a free, public poetry reading and answer questions at 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, in the Museum of Art as part of the Washington State University English Department Visiting Writer Series.

Urban-Poets-Society-logo-80RICHLAND, Wash. – From spoken word to song lyrics, the Urban Poets Society welcomes all forms of poetry to the free, public open mic at 7 p.m. Friday, April 4, in the East Building auditorium at Washington State University Tri-Cities, 2710 Crimson Way, Richland.

Poets, poetry fans will welcome new Open Mic hosts

RICHLAND – WSU Tri-Cities invites poets of all ages and experience levels to share their creativity at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, at Open Mic Poetry Reading Night.

 

The free, public event will be in the East Building Auditorium.

 

Open Mic participation is open to all styles — hip-hop, cowboy, rhyming, free verse and even chanting poets. People who register via a sign-up sheet that is passed around at the start of the event are invited to the microphone to read an original poem that is no longer than 1-1/2 pages. Poets of all ages, styles welcome

RICHLAND – Poets, from the shy to the bold, are invited to share their creativity May 6 at Open Mic Poetry Reading Night at WSU Tri-Cities.

 

The Open Mic is at 7:30 p.m. in the East Building Auditorium. Admission is free and open to the public. This is the last Open Mic for spring semester – the series will restart in the fall.

RICHLAND – Poets – from the shy to the bold – are invited to share their creativity at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 1, at a free Open Mic Poetry Reading Night in the East Building Auditorium at WSU Tri-Cities.
