Stink bugs invade more counties, homes in Washington

Stink-bug-80PULLMAN, Wash. – A recent upsurge of dirty, rotten, no-good brown marmorated stink bugs in the Pacific Northwest has researchers scrambling to keep the insect’s numbers from exploding.

Cougar invasion leads to Seattle proclamation

WSU Cougars are gearing up to invade the Emerald City this Saturday and take on the Nevada Wolf Pack in the new Seahawk Stadium. Ticket sales are hitting new records and approaching capacity. Joy to the journey now was added Wednesday, when Seattle Mayor Greg Nickels proclaimed Aug. 26-31 as WSU Week.
