The first lecture will be given by Lilliana Mason, an associate professor of Government and Politics at the University of Maryland, College Park, on political polarization. It will take place at noon on Thursday, Aug. 27.
The lecturer will be Yong-Chool Ha, the Korea Foundation Professor at the UW, and emeritus professor at Seoul National University.
“Patriotism vs. Nationalism: When should we be concerned?” a public lecture by Carol Swain, professor of political science and law at Vanderbilt University, will be hosted by the Foley Institute, 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, in CUE 203.
