WSU alumna and poet laureate to visit WSU

The WSU Black Women’s Caucus announced an evening with Mona Lake Jones, a poet laureate and WSU alumna, at 6:30 p.m. on Feb 25.The evening, to take place in the Compton Union Building Ballroom, includes dinner and a presentation by the African-American writer. Black Women’s Caucus hosts annual conference

The Black Women’s Caucus of Washington State University will host its annual African-American Women’s Conference Feb. 26, featuring workshops and seminars on issues of gender and race.Guest speakers and facilitators for the events include Eunice Johnson, Mary Grimes and the Rev. Carmen Woods. Conference registration is $10; the deadline to register is Feb. 17.
