Dr. Pizhong Qiao named Fellow by ASCE

Pizhong Qiao, Ph.D., P.E., SECB, a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and Associate Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Washington State University was recently elevated to the membership level of “Fellow” within the society.  The Fellow designation is considered one of the most esteemed honors that civil engineers can receive from their peers.  Fewer than six percent of ASCE members hold the title of Fellow.Dr. Qiao is recognized for his significant contributions to civil engineering research, application and teaching that have advanced theory and practice in the composites area.  His outstanding scholarship has led to the development of two novel … » More …
