Board of Regents to meet Jan. 23–24

SEATTLE, Wash. — Members of the Washington State University Board of Regents will convene for two days of meetings Jan. 23–24 in Seattle.

These meetings will take place inside the Sheraton Grand Seattle, 1400 6th Ave., with public portions of the meeting being livestreamed and recorded.

Thursday’s meetings kick off with a breakfast at 7 a.m. followed by an executive session at 8:30 a.m. After executive session, the board will again be open to the public when it is expected to begin the Academic and Student Affairs Committee at 10:45 a.m. The Executive and Governance and Finance and Administration committees will meet in the afternoon.

Friday’s meetings will begin at 8:30 a.m. with the Strategic and Operational Excellence Committee. The full meeting of the WSU Board of Regents will follow, with an estimated start time of 9:15 a.m.

Members of the public seeking to address the board can sign up ahead of time via the WSU Board of Regents website.

The regents will also meet socially on Wednesday, Jan. 22, at 1301 5th Ave. in Seattle, beginning at approximately 5:30 p.m.
