WSU Board of Regents to hold retreat in Seattle Jan. 23–24

PULLMAN, Wash. – The Washington State University Board of Regents will hold a retreat Thursday and Friday, Jan. 23-24, in Seattle, Wash.

The two-day retreat will begin with a dinner Thursday at the Cedarbrook Lodge, 18525 36th Avenue South, SeaTac, Wash.

The following morning, beginning at 8 a.m., the board will meet at the Cedarbrook Lodge’s Lily Room. Members are expected to go into executive session until 8:30 a.m. with legal counsel to discuss litigation or potential litigation involving the university and to review the performance of a public employee.

After the executive session, the board will reconvene in open session, hearing several presentations and taking action on three items. The meeting is expected to end at 4:10 p.m.

At 6 p.m., Regents will attend a joint special event with members of the University of Washington Board of Regents at the Rainier Club, 820 Fourth Avenue, Seattle, Wash.
