SEATTLE, Wash. – Celebrate Carson College!, an annual networking event to support business education at Washington State University, will be held 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, at Melrose Market Studios, 1532 Minor Ave., Seattle.

The reception style event includes hors d’oeuvres, a hosted bar, live auction and a raise-the-paddle program. Registration is $75 and is available online at until 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17.

The theme of the event is “The Next Carson Coug,” a WSU Carson College of Business initiative to transform undergraduate business education.

WSU Regent, alumnus and Carson College of Business namesake Scott Carson and his wife Linda will provide a dollar-for-dollar match if the Carson College raises $250,000 to support the initiative. Chip Hunter, college dean, invites Pacific Northwest business leaders, WSU alumni and others to the event to help meet this goal.

“We look forward to gathering to celebrate the Carson College,” said Hunter. “When we come together, we build our community and at the same time we build an understanding of how investments in our college can make a big difference for our students,” “Proceeds from this event will help us move closer to our goal of becoming the first choice for students seeking a business education in the Pacific Northwest.”
