About 3,040 students to participate in WSU commencement

commencement2012PULLMAN, Wash. – About 3,040 students are expected to participate in Washington State University Pullman commencement ceremonies at 8 and 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday, May 7, in Beasley Coliseum.

An honorary degree will be presented posthumously to former president Elson S. Floyd and will be accepted by Carmento Floyd during the 3 p.m. ceremony.

WSU Interim President Daniel Bernardo will confer degrees at all three ceremonies, which are free to the public; tickets are not required. Phyllis J. Campbell, WSU alumna and Pacific Northwest chair for JPMorgan Chase & Co., will speak at all the ceremonies. Learn more about her at https://commencement.wsu.edu/spring/speaker/.

Ceremonies will be videostreamed for live viewing online at https://www.experience.wsu.edu. The videostream will be archived for viewing afterward at the same Web address.
