Regents add presidential candidate discussion to agenda

PULLMAN, Wash. – The Board of Regents of Washington State University today issued a revised agenda for its regularly scheduled meeting later this week at WSU Tri-Cities. As revised, the agenda will now include “a discussion of presidential candidates and possible action” as an item of “other business” during the Regent’s meeting on March 25.

This regularly scheduled meeting will be held March 24 and 25 on the WSU Tri-Cities campus, Consolidated Information Center, Rooms 212-214. The meeting will also be videostreamed to remote viewing locations at WSU Pullman, Lighty Room 403; WSU Spokane, SAC Room 503A; WSU Vancouver, VECS Room 125; North Puget Sound Everett, GWH-157 and WSU West, Conference  Room 2.

The meeting will begin at 1 p.m., March 24, with a meeting of the Regents’ Executive Committee, followed by consecutive meetings of the Regents’ Finance and Audit, Academic and Student Affairs, and External Affairs committees. Each committee session will convene immediately following the completion of the previous session. All four sessions are scheduled to conclude prior to 5 p.m.

The Regents will re-convene at the same location at 8 a.m., March 25, to initially hear reports from various WSU officials and campus organizations, including the WSU Tri-Cities chancellor, the WSU Foundation, the WSU Faculty Senate, Associated Students of WSU Tri-Cities, Graduate and Professional Student Association and WSU Administrative Professional Advisory Council.
