A group of WSU graduate architecture students had the chance to work with the building material of the future – wood – as part of their architecture studio design course.  

The 20‑year‑old Wenatchee native and construction management major works as a communications assistant in the Office of Academic Engagement.

WSU and Clemson University researchers have found that insufficient training for construction workers in hospital settings may be contributing to fungal disease outbreaks that endanger patients.

More than 1,540 students from 53 universities and 21 states participated in the recent Associated Schools of Construction competition, the largest construction management competition in the U.S.

WSU students are working with the Pullman community to develop a vision for the city’s Gateway District, the area that connects WSU to downtown. A public meeting will be held Thursday, Jan. 30 at 5 pm. in the Brelsford Visitor Center.

Researchers with WSU’s Integrated Design and Construction Laboratory are exploring ways to make energy-efficient buildings more comfortable for those working in them.

An architecture class at WSU will present their ideas for a small luxury hotel to upgrade Pullman’s downtown during an upcoming Town and Gown Collaborative meeting.
