Thousands of students are just weeks away from returning to Washington State University campuses across the state.

To welcome them back, a host of events are being planned. On the WSU Pullman campus, that includes the iconic All Campus Picnic, which is set to take place from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15.

A significant number of volunteers are needed to make the event run smoothly, with those interested asked to visit the All Campus Picnic website to learn more. Volunteers can sign up for times via an online submission form.

Week of Welcome events across the WSU system run from Aug. 10–16, with more information available online. The first day of instruction for the fall 2025 semester is Monday, Aug. 18.
