Washington State University football and men’s basketball teams will have a national TV and streaming platform through the 2030–31 season thanks to an extended partnership between CBS Sports and the Pac-12 Conference.

An extension to the partnership between Pac-12 and CBS Sports, which is set to begin with the upcoming football season, was announced Monday morning. The partnership coincides with the ongoing transformation of the Pac-12 and will see football and men’s basketball games air each season on The CBS Television Network, the CBS Sports Network, and streaming on Paramount+.

This is more than a media deal; it’s a statement of purpose and a springboard to what’s next.

This is more than a media deal; it’s a statement of purpose and a springboard to what’s next.”

The deal includes several noteworthy guarantees:

  • An annual football championship game aired on CBS and streamed live on Paramount+.
  • Annual men’s basketball tournament championship game on CBS and Paramount+.
  • A minimum of three regular season football games on CBS and Paramount+ each season.
  • At least three regular season men’s basketball games on CBS and Paramount+ each season.
  • Football and men’s basketball games throughout the regular season on CBS Sports Network, with details to be announced at a later date.

“As the Pac-12 Conference continues its transformation, having CBS Sports as a media partner provides tremendous exposure for the conference and Washington State Athletics,” said WSU Director of Athletics Anne McCoy. “CBS Sports and Paramount+ will bring the stories of our student-athletes to millions of homes across the country, showcasing not just great football and basketball, but the spirit and resilience that define the new Pac-12.”

Additional media rights partnerships for the Pac-12 will be announced following finalized agreements, according to today’s announcement.
