Tenure and promotions for 2025

Washington State University professors Jon Oatley and Carolyn Ross have been promoted to the rank of Regents Professor and are among the 33 faculty members to receive tenure this year as well as 89 more to receive promotions.

The full list of tenures and promotions, which recognizes substantial contributions in research, teaching and creative activity, was announced Monday by Provost and Executive Vice President Chris Riley-Tillman and can be found on the Provost’s Office website.

All will be honored at the Celebrating Excellence Banquet, a special event for honorees and their invited guests, to be held on Friday, March 28. The banquet is part of Showcase, the university’s weeklong celebration of academic excellence.
