All current and prospective Washington State University students who have earned college credits at another institution are invited to workshops, a presentation, and even a paint-and-sip (a caffeinated beverage) de-stressing session in celebration of National Transfer Student Week Oct. 16–20.

No-cost presentations on transferring to WSU for students and their academic advisors will be offered virtually over Zoom and require registration, but all other events for students currently enrolled are in-person at WSU Pullman and do not require registration.

“This week, which is titled ‘Full Steam Ahead’, is all about raising awareness that the WSU Transfer Center for Policy and Resources is here and ready to help students achieve academic and personal success,” said Laura Welch, assistant director of the center, located in Lighty 180.

“The events are intended to be fun and informative and are available to transfer students and their friends. We hope faculty will encourage their students to attend.”
