Next online COVID‑19 town hall on Sept. 10

Washington State University’s next online COVID-19 town hall is taking place on Thursday, Sept. 10.

The hour-long town hall featuring WSU leaders answering questions from the university community begins at 4 p.m. Among the topics of discussion will be WSU’s COVID-19 testing efforts, the fall 2020 semester so far and available services for students including academic advising, tutoring and mental health support.

Speakers will include President Kirk Schulz, Provost and Executive Vice President Elizabeth Chilton, Dr. Bonnie de Vries, medical director of Cougar Health Services, Dave Cillay, vice president of WSU Academic Outreach and Innovation and WSU Global Campus Chancellor, Jill Creighton, dean of students and associate vice president for Campus Life, Terese King, executive director of university advising, Jennifer Ellsworth, director of Cougar Health Services’ Counseling and Psychological Services and Mary Wack, vice provost for academic engagement and student achievement. Curtis Cohen, President of ASWSU, will also be in attendance to talk about the Cougs Cancel COVID campaign.

The event will be broadcast live on Youtube. It will be available afterwards on Experience WSU, where each of the previous town halls are also available.

Questions can be submitted in advance by filing out an online submission form.
