Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity reactivates Chi Chapter for WSU School of Music

Kimbrough Hall
The reactivation ceremony for the Chi Chapter of the Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity of America at WSU was held in Kimbrough Hall on March 30, 2019.

Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity of America is proud to announce the reactivation of the Chi Chapter at Washington State University. The Chi Chapter has not been active on the WSU Pullman campus since 1974.   The reactivation ceremony was held in Kimbrough Concert Hall in the music building on Washington State University’s campus on March 30, 2019.

Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity of America strives to strengthen the brotherhood of musical students and promote music by American composers. The Chi Chapter will help students of the School of Music to connect with this larger organization and have a community on campus. Some events planned for throughout the year involve the American Music Recital, an event where the chapter and other invited performers showcase various pieces by American composers, and the Mills Music Mission, where the members go out into the community and sing in places such as retirement homes.
