Professors Matsuura, Setter, Neumiller receive awards

Three faculty from the College of Pharmacy earned 2009 awards from the Washington State Pharmacy Association.
 
 
* Associate professor Stephen Setter, Spokane, received the Rodney D. Shafer Award, which acknowledges a pharmacy professional who has made a pioneering and sustaining contribution to the profession.
 
 
* Assistant rofessor Gregory Matsuura, Yakima, received the Pfizer Health System Pharmacist of the Year Award. It recognizes service to hospital pharmacy in cooperation with the entire health team as well as service to the community.
 
 
* Assistant professor Joshua Neumiller, Spokane, was honored with the Pharmacist Mutual Distinguished Young Pharmacist of the Year Award for 2009. This award recognizes exemplary pharmacists with fewer than 10 years of practice experience who made outstanding contributions to the profession and community.
