PULLMAN – WSU Today would like to hear insights from faculty members regarding its news website and e-newsletter. To that end, it’s looking for faculty members who would be interested in participating in a one-hour focus group and lunch.
Possible dates, depending upon response, are noon to 1 p.m. on Dec. 8, 10, and Jan. 5, 7, 12, 14. The location will be in Lighty 403. (Future focus groups for WSU Spokane, Vancouver and Tri-Cities are planned as well.)
Ideally, WSU Today would like at least one faculty person from each college to participate.

“WSU Today made a monumental change last February, when its newspaper publication was discontinued, and it moved to totally electronic delivery via its website and the WSU Today e-newsletter,” said Robert Frank, editor WSU Today. “Since then, we also have made a variety of major changes to the website. Now, we need to hear from employees how these services are meeting their needs and how we can improve.
“We want participants to be candid and tell us what works and doesn’t work, as well as any ideas they might have.”
WSU Today held its first focus group on Nov. 22, and received a number of valuable suggestions that are already being implemented.
Faculty selected to participate in the upcoming focus group will be contacted by e-mail or phone.
If you know a faculty person who might be a good participant, please forward this article to them by clicking on the orange “Share” button at the top or bottom of this page.
Thank you in advance for your time and help.
