Springfest honored by national organization

PULLMAN – WSU’s Springfest won the Outstanding Annual Program award for the western conference of the National Association of Campus Activities recently. The nine-state conference includes nearly 100 member institutions.

Sponsored by the Student Entertainment Board, Springfest has been entertaining 5,000-7,000 WSU Pullman community members for the past three years. The day-long April event features bands, performers, food vendors, games, rides and more.

“Springfest is SEB’s biggest event of the year, and every year we try to bring bigger and better events than the previous one,” said Renae Dahlquist, last year’s special events coordinator.
