Deferred Compensation Program to present options

PULLMAN – A representative from the Washington State Deferred Compensation Program (DCP) will provide two presentations on campus Oct. 15 at 3 p.m. and Oct. 16 at 11:10 a.m. Both presentations will be in the CUE, Room 518.

DCP  is a supplemental retirement savings program (an IRC Sec. 457 plan) that offers eligible faculty and staff the opportunity to invest money towards their retirement. Individuals are able to invest in this plan in addition to their regular retirement plan (such as the PERS plans, or the WSURP). If participants are already investing in the Voluntary Investment Plan (VIP) with TIAA-CREF (a 403b plan), they can also participate in the DCP plan.

For complete scheduling details and to register online please go to www.hrs.wsu.edu/drsworkshops.

Limited individual DCP appointments are also available on Oct. 15 and Oct. 16. Discussions can include DCP enrollment, the effects of deferrals on take home pay, future value projections, distribution scenarios and assistance with making changes. Please contact Human Resource Services at hrs@wsu.edu  to schedule an individual appointment. Appointments are limited.
