PULLMAN – Art by WSU faculty is on exhibit through Sept. 26 at the WSU Museum of Art on the Pullman campus.

The exhibit is an opportunity to celebrate the creativity of fine arts department faculty members. It includes a wide variety of works from the artists who provide inspiration to WSU students daily and allows students to observe their mentors puttingskill and theory into practice.

“We’ve pushed the exhibit to the beginning of the semester so incoming students are immediately exposed to the manifold talents of the faculty,” said Keith Wells, curator of the museum. “The addition of several new members since the last faculty exhibit in 2007 has really changed the dynamic of the show.”

Participating faculty artists include: Nickolus Meisel, Tim Doebler, Robert Helm, Tamara Helm, Reza Safavi, Io Palmer, Michelle Forsyth, Chris Watts, Tobias Walther, Pamela Lee, Sandra Salo Deutchman, Heather McGeachy, Ahmed Ibrahim and Kevin Haas

Funding for this exhibit has been provided by WSU Museum of Art members.

The Museum of Art is located on Wilson Road across from Martin Stadium in the Fine Arts Center. Gallery hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Saturday, and Thursday until 7 p.m. For more information, contact 335-1910.
