PULLMAN – “Dracula” will haunt the stage of the R.R. Jones theater in WSU Pullman’s Daggy Hall during 7:30 p.m. performances on Oct. 22-24 and 29-31.
Prior to the Halloween performance, the audience member wearing the best costume will be awarded a prize.
The play is based on Bram Stoker’s famous 1897 vampire horror novel. Playwright Steven Dietz wrote the script and Ray Pritchard, an instructor in WSU’s Department of Theater and Dance, will direct.
Students Jason Keene, of Camas, and Syleanna Campbell, of Auburn, play the lead roles of Count Dracula and Mina.
The production will contain gore and may not be suitable for young children and those with sensitive constitutions.
Tickets cost $15 general admission, $10 for age 65 and over and for WSU students, $5 for age 17 and younger. Graduate and professional students will be admitted free with ID. The Daggy Hall box office is open 2-5:20 p.m. Tuesday-Friday the weeks of performance and an hour before curtain time.
