WSU each fall recognizes those among its faculty who are beginning the new academic year with a promotion in rank, newly granted tenure, or both.
The accomplishments of these individuals are recognized for the first time in the spring at the Celebrating Excellence banquet. The fall recognition allows members of the greater university community who could not attend that event to learn more about their colleagues’ expertise and accomplishments.
In the past, a printed insert was published in an edition of WSU Today. With the move to electronic media for internal communication, the recognition is now done through a new website that can be found online here. A version in PDF format is provided for ease of printing.
The site was created by University Relations staff members. They are grateful to the faculty members who submitted their individual content used for the captions and took time to have their photographs taken.
