Get your hands dirty at WSU Organic Farm field day

PULLMAN – Come discover the latest research and hands-on teaching methods being tested at Washington State University’s Organic Farm in Pullman at the field day scheduled for Thursday, July 30 from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the WSU Organic Farm.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. The event is free and open to the public.

The farm operates a 105-member fruit and vegetable Community Supported Agriculture program, selling to the local community. Students provide the bulk of the labor as part of their hands-on organic agriculture education.

Tour the farm with farmers, researchers and students guiding the discussions. Visitors will be introduced to current student projects and faculty research plots. The event is also part of the Washington Tilth Producers Farm Walk series.
