WSU Vancouver professor to speak at NW Workplace Violence Conference

 
VANCOUVER – WSU Vancouver Assistant Professor of Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Armando Estrada, will moderate and present a seminar at the Northwest Workplace Violence Conference at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Ore.
Estrada will moderate four sessions from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. Monday, June 15, and will present information about employment relations in his seminar, “Employment Issues: Handling Bullying, Harassment, Intimidation, and/or Abuse Situations” from 1 – 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16.
“My goal is to provide participants with information about strategies that human resource professionals can use to deter, prevent and manage workplace violence,” said Estrada.
This two-day event for industry professionals and area experts will provide in-depth information on understanding potential workplace violence issues.
Other presenters include, Washington State Senator Joseph Zarelli and media expert Anna Song, from KATU TV.
