Regents to meet Friday

SPOKANE– The Board of Regents of WSU will consider tuition and fee levels for the upcoming biennium at its regularly scheduled meeting to be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, May 8 in Room 241 of the Academic Center on the WSU Spokane campus.
 
The board held a special meeting last week to discuss the higher education budget for the upcoming biennium, which includes a 14 percent increase in undergraduate resident tuition for each of the two years.
 
The regents will hold committee meetings Thursday afternoon at the Academic Center.
While in Spokane, board members also will participate in the dedication of the Nursing Building at 5 p.m. Thursday and WSU Spokane commencement ceremonies at 2 p.m. Friday at the Spokane Convention Center.
