Middle School Students Spend a Day at College at WSU Vancouver

VANCOUVER, Wash. – Washington State University Vancouver is hosting its annual Day at College event on Friday, May 8. One hundred fifty middle school students from Jason Leigh and McLoughlin Middle schools are coming to the WSU Vancouver campus to learn about college. The objective is to get kids thinking about going to college earlier rather than later.

The event is supported by a KnowHow2GOWashington grant. The grant was awarded to improve the quality of outreach efforts to students and families and educate students about the steps they need to take to make their college dreams a reality.
