The Sky Below premiers in Pullman

PULLMAN – The award winning film “The Sky Below” by Sarah Singh will play at 7 p.m., Monday April 13 in CADD 21.

The film is a subtle and sensitive portrayal, retelling the myth and reality about the 1947 Partition of India with a special focus on lesser-known impacts of the division. It is a cross-section of history, people, politics and culture—across dangerous and remote places—Kutch to Kashmir, and Karachi to the Khyber Pass.

Singh has screened her film at major universities across the county, as well as in India and Pakistan.
