Music, theater, food and more during Mom’s Weekend

PULLMAN — Continuing a long-established tradition, mothers and friends of WSU students will visit the Pullman campus for Mom’s Weekend, April 3-5.

More than 100 activities, exhibits and special programs, including concerts, theater plays, craft fairs and athletic events, are scheduled for the three-day weekend.

The School of Music will present the Broadway musical “Jane Eyre.” Performances will take place at 8 p.m. on Friday, April 3, and at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, at Bryan Hall Theater.

The Department of Theatre and Dance will present “The Heidi Chronicles,” at 7:30 p.m. April 2-4 and April 9-11 with a 2 p.m. matinee on April 4 in Daggy Hall’s Jones Theatre. 

“Melancholy Play” will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and 2 p.m. matinees Saturday and Sunday in the Wadleigh Theater, Daggy Hall. This is a co-production of STAGE and the Department of Theatre and Dance.

The official Mom’s Weekend Brunch will take place 10 to 11:30 a.m. April 4 at the Great Hall in the Lewis Alumni Center. The Mom of the Year Award will be presented during the brunch. Tickets are available at the Women’s Resource Center, Wilson Hall Room 8.
