Results will help WSU support employees

To determine the extent and impact of elder-care issues, WSU employees are asked to participate in a survey online. It will remain live at that site for the next few weeks.

Results will be used to determine concerns and needs, guide recommendations and create a foundation for future work in the area of elder-care support within WSU. All responses will be kept confidential.

The survey is a result of collaboration between the EXCELinSE (Excellence in Science and Engineering) Center (website here), Work/Life Committee and Family-Friendly Subcommittee of the WSU President’s Commission on the Status of Women.

The survey contains 49 questions and should take no more than 20-25 minutes to complete. For the purpose of the survey, “elder care” is defined as “providing care for an aging parent, relative or non-relative, regardless of whether the person lives with you or not.”

Responses are sought from all individuals, including those who do not expect to provide elder care as well as those who have provided, currently provide or anticipate providing elder care.
