Variety of weather leads up to official first day

It’s still winter, but the WSU Pullman campus is showing signs of spring – which officially starts March 20. For example, these flowers recently were found growing between Heald and Albelson halls.
 
The weather forecast calls for a warmup today, then snow and rain into the middle of next week. The sun is predicted to reappear just before the official first day of spring late next week.
 
We’ll believe it when we see it …
