APAC accepting applications Feb. 27-March 27

The Administrative Professional Advisory Council (APAC) invites applications from interested Administrative Professional (AP) personnel to fill vacancies on the Council. Openings are for five council positions serving a three year term beginning July 1, 2009. Applications will be accepted from February 27 – March 27, 2009.

The purpose of the Administrative Professional Advisory Council is to serve as a liaison between the administrative professional (AP) employees and central administration and to effectively communicate important issues.

 Objectives of the APAC are:

•Serve in an advisory capacity regarding AP issues;

•Represent the interests of AP employees;

•Provide a forum where AP employees may discuss University-related issues of mutual interest; and

•Disseminate information between AP staff and Administration.

The Council meets for an hour and a half once a month with the opportunity to serve on subcommittees which may require additional time.
