Wind symphony and symphonic band to perform

PULLMAN — The WSU Wind Symphony and Symphonic Band will present “Brooding and Bouncing,” at 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, in Bryan Hall Theater. Admission is free.

The concert will feature works by Dmitri Shostakovich, Howard Hanson, Malcolm Arnold and John Philip Sousa. During the Wind Symphony program, there will be an encore performance of “Daggers in men’s smiles,” a composition written by the WSU faculty Charles Argersinger.
