Undergrads learn about research opportunities

Faculty and staff are asked to encourage students to attend an information session on opportunities for undergraduate research 6-7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, at Smith CUE 209.
Dave Bahr, WSU director of undergraduate research, will explain how to apply for programs such as the NSF-funded Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU), Auvil Fellows, the Cougar Undergraduate Research Experience (CURE) and more.
Undergraduate research allows students to tackle challenges, make a difference, explore potential careers or graduate school studies, work with mentor professors and meet other leaders in their field of interest.
