WSU will make the presidential inauguration of Barack Obama available on large screens in several locations on Tuesday, Jan. 20. The ceremony officially begins at 8:30 a.m. Pacific Time.
Employees who wish to view the inauguration will “need to get permission from the appropriate supervisor, make a schedule change or request leave,” said

Beasley Coliseum will broadcast the inauguration on its giant (30 ft) screen. Doors will open at 7:30 a.m. with the broadcast beginning somewhere between 7:30 and 8 a.m. Pacific Time.
The CUB will have the Inauguration on eight large LCD screens in lounges and seating areas throughout the ground, first, second, third and fourth floors. The ballroom also will have seating and show the ceremony on the screens in the room.
People also can listen on one of the Northwest Public Radio (NPR) news stations including KWSU 1250 AM Pullman/Moscow, KLWS 91.5 in Moses Lake/Ephrata, KWWS 89.7 in Walla Walla and Tri Cities, KQWS 90.1 in Omak, KMWS 89.7 in Mt Vernon, and on translators 89.9 in Pullman/Moscow, 90.3 in Wenatchee, and 89.9 in Ellensburg.
Northwest Public Radio will have an online audiostream at www.nwpr.org.
