PULLMAN – Submit nominations for the WSU Women of Distinction and Woman of the Year awards.
The Women of Distinction awards are presented to a WSU alumna, an employee, a student and a woman from outside the university. All nominees are eligible for the Woman of the Year award.
The CUB Ballroom is set to host the Women’s Recognition Luncheon on March 11 to present the awards. These awards are presented annually by WSU in recognition of National Women’s History Month.
The selection process uses a committee comprised of representatives from the President’s Commission on the Status of Women, the President’s Office, the Women’s Resource Center, the Department of Women’s Studies, the Association for Faculty Women and the Coalition for Women Students.
WSU faculty, staff, students and community members from all campuses are encouraged to submit forms online at https://secure.wsu.edu/wod/index.html. The deadline for nominations is Jan. 28.
