Sign up for Life Sciences grant information sessions

Faculty are invited to information sessions, conducted by agency representatives, on the 2009 state Life Sciences Discovery Fund grant competitions.
 
Two Pullman sessions, Jan. 14 and 15, will be available via videoconference at Tri-Cities and Vancouver. Find details and register for one ONLINE @ www.ogrd.wsu.edu/workshops.asp#238.
 
Other sessions that might be convenient for WSU faculty include:
 
• WSU Spokane, 2 p.m., Jan. 15.
• Battelle, Richland, 1 p.m., Jan. 20.
• Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences, Yakima, 10 a.m., Jan. 21.
 
Funding opportunities and amounts include a project grant competition of up to $8 million in total awards, a program grant competition of up to $20 million and, new in 2009, two commercialization grant competitions of up to $750,000 per round.
