Education Abroad Fair highlights global opportunities

PULLMAN – The WSU Education Abroad Fair will be from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., on Tuesday, January 20 in the CUB Junior Ballroom  Students in any field of study can find cost-effective programs to enhance their education and give a global perspective on their area of study. Visit the fair to talk with more than 20 study abroad program providers offering study and internship opportunities in over 40 countries.

In addition, WSU faculty will be present to share information on their summer and semester programs abroad. Faculty-led programs are growing in popularity and offer a unique opportunity for in-depth, field-based study abroad while taking WSU courses.

Students can also learn about exchange program options. Exchanges are considered full immersion programs because students enroll directly in a partner university abroad and have access to full curriculum study. Students studying at WSU from these partner schools will be available to answer questions about exchanges at the fair.

The Education Abroad Fair is a bi-annual event that allows students to speak directly with program providers, WSU faculty, and Education Abroad staff about study abroad opportunities.  Education Abroad staff will be available at the fair to answer questions and students attending the fair are eligible to enter the Education Abroad raffle for a chance to win 50% off of the WSU Education Abroad application fee.
