SPOKANE, Wash. The public is invited to learn about the vision for the Pine Street property on the Riverpoint Campus at an open house information session being held by Washington State University Spokane and partners NexCore Group, Arthritis Northwest, and the Downtown Spokane Partnership Wednesday, Dec. 3.
The event will be held from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the lobby of the Academic Center at 600 N. Riverpoint Blvd.
The program will include discussion of the vision for the first phase of development at Pine Street and how it fits into the future of clinical health services and research at the Riverpoint Campus. Programs of WSU and Eastern Washington University at Riverpoint focus on the health sciences and professions, along with design and urban planning; business; education and social sciences.
Speakers will include Jarrod Daddis, senior managing director of NexCore Group LP; Karen Ferguson, practice administrator for Arthritis Northwest LLC, and Drs. Howard Kenney and Dr. Gary Craig, both partners in the practice; Brian Pitcher, WSU Spokane chancellor and vice provost for WSU Health Sciences; and Marty Dickinson, executive director of the Downtown Spokane Partnership.
Visitors are encouraged to use public transit; STA Route #29 serves Riverpoint. Bike racks are located by every building, and the Centennial Trail provides pedestrian/bike access. Drivers should use the meters in the green parking lots, or park in the Pay and Display lot (cash only) located just off of Spokane Falls Boulevard to the west of the South Campus Facility at 412 E. Spokane Falls Blvd. One-hour parking on city streets is also available.
