Pac-10 fitness challenge

PULLMAN– From Oct. 27-31 help WSU claim the title as the PAC-10’s most active school.

The PAC-10 Fitness Challenge is a conference-wide initiative to promote regular physical activity and will be held on all ten campuses starting next week. Participate in the Challenge by logging on and recording your total minutes of physical activity with the Fitness Challenge Tracker at www.pac-10fitnesschallenge.com.  Physical activity can be anything from fitness classes, runs/walks and exercise workshops, to personal workouts and routines. A weighted score, calculated based on each institution’s enrollment student and number of faculty staff, will ultimately determine the PAC-10 Fitness Challenge champion.

Last year, WSU had 3,618 participants log a total of 66,372 miles of activity.  Although WSU fell short to Stanford, our students were the most active in the PAC-10 and faculty/staff were second.

During the week of the challenge all WSU faculty/staff will receive free entry into the SRC with their Cougar Card. In addition there will be free special events, prizes and giveaways all week.

For more information, to start logging your minuets, prizes and giveaway details, and a schedule of events, visit www.pac10fitnesschallenge.com.
