Pre-order meals online

Dining customers will be able to pre-order a meal or snack online and pick it up when convenient for them with the new Webfood program from Dining Services

“This program should be ready any day now,” said Whitney Mueller, Dining Services marketing intern. Food will be ordered ONLINE @ http://wsu.webfood.com.

Pickup locations will include the Dining Services espresso bars throughout the Pullman campus and the Cyber Café, Mueller said. Customers will be able to order during the hours of operation and up to 90 minutes before closing. Go ONLINE @ http://dining.wsu.edu for location hours.

Webfood will feature sandwiches, wraps, Crimson Bakeshop pastries and desserts, as well as many other lunch, snack and beverage options, Mueller said. Patrons will pay online with their Resident Dining Account (RDA), Cougar Cash, VISA or MasterCard.

New eatery, same commitment to go green

Among the eco-friendly food options in the newly opened CUB is Carlita’s Mexican Grille and Espresso, operated by WSU Dining Services.

Carlita’s uses 100 percent biodegradable and recyclable paper products and green chemicals for washing, Mueller said.

“We also purchase our vegetables and meats from local farmers,” forming partnerships with local businesses like Thomas Hammer and DeLeon Foods for coffee and tortilla chips, she said.

“Carlita’s is committed to sustainability.”
Hours are 7 a.m.-7 p.m., Monday-Friday.
