WSU performsTony-nominated musical

PULLMAN – WSU School of Music presents its summer musical “Baby”, a play that discusses impeding pregnancy within three different generations of couples.
 
Performances are scheduled for July 18, 19, 25, and 26.
 
“Baby” tells the emotional story of three couples facing the universal experience of pregnancy.
 
The couples include the college students, a mid-30s couple, and two middle-aged parents who find themselves back where they started.
 
The musical, written by Sybille Pearson, made its
Broadway premiere
in 1983.
 
It was nominated for seven Tony Awards including best musical and best score.
