Palouse Ridge Golf Club names head golf pro

PULLMAN — Jeremy Wexler is returning home to serve as head golf professional at WSU’s Palouse Ridge Golf Club.

Born and raised in Pullman, where his family has lived for six generations, Wexler graduated from Pullman High School and then entered the U.S. Army, serving three years as an infantry specialist and achieving his Expert Infantryman Badge. After being stationed in Fort Polk, La., and Fort Benning, Ga., he returned to Pullman and earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from WSU. His love for the game then led him to pursue a career in golf.

He graduated as valedictorian from the Professional Golfer’s Career College in Temecula, Cal., earning a specialized associates degree in professional golf management.

Spending five years at TPC Scottsdale, a PGA Tour facility, as an assistant golf professional, he taught individual lessons, group clinics and golf schools working as a Tour Academy Master Instructor. He was also an integral part of the management operations team.

At Palouse Ridge, Wexler will manage the day-to-day operations, merchandising and customer service, and coordinate the lesson programs.

“Local connections and his experience with the TPC program make Jeremy a great addition to the Palouse Ridge staff,” said Bruce Perisho, general manager of Palouse Ridge Golf Club.

Wexler also returns with his wife Dita and sons Lukas and Milo.
