Board of Regents to meet Friday

PULLMAN- Regents of Washington State University will hold its regularly scheduled meeting Friday, May 2 at 9 a.m. in the Regents Room of the Lewis Alumni Centre on the Pullman campus.

Among the issues on the agenda are approval of the 2009-2011 operating and capital budget requests for the upcoming legislative session;  the establishment of a bi-state School of Food Science in collaboration with the University of Idaho; setting fee levels and allocations for service and activities fees for the upcoming academic year. 
 
Also being discussed is the approval process for selecting a general contractor/construction manager for the Applied Technology Classroom Building at WSU Vancouver; approval of the bonding resolution for the Olympia Avenue Student Housing project, and election of board officers for the upcoming academic year.

The board will hold committee meetings Thursday in the Lewis Alumni Centre.
