RICHLAND, Wash. Students at Washington State University Tri-Cities are participating in Mid-Columbia Earth Month by raising awareness about the benefits of recycling.
The Associated Students of WSU Tri-Cities are holding various Recycling Awareness Month activities. This Thursday, April 3, features “make your own recycled paper” from noon to 2 p.m. in the West Building Atrium, 2710 University Drive, Richland. If the weather is nice, the activity will be on the Patio outside the Atrium.
“Recycling is an important cause that needs to be addressed,” said Jessica Enger, ASWSU activity chairwoman and a junior studying biology.
The campus community is encouraged to bring recyclables from home to put in a city of Richland recycling bin temporarily located by the trailers along Sprout Road (near the first entrance to the West building parking lot).
