Cougar baseball team nationally ranked

PULLMAN – The Washington State baseball team is ranked 25th-nationally in the current Collegiate Baseball poll, released Monday.

The Cougars (13-5) won three of four games at then-No. 25 Oklahoma over the weekend, and open Pacific-10 Conference play hosting No. 12 California, Thursday at 5:30 p.m.

The national ranking is the highest for Washington State since 1994 when the Cougars were also ranked 25th by Collegiate Baseball.
